The bad reviews are unfortunately true. Lags so bad you think it is frozen and then it may or may not move. App is honestly unusable, and not in a I just don't want to put up with it kind of way. Really hope they can sort that out though, looks like it would be a good source of info if you can get access to it

Its was so laggy, and it actually crashed my phone, I was really looking forward for this app but it disappointed me, if the lag gets fix that will be nice and maybe add more things. But I hope the lag gets all fixed up because I really wanted to use this app and learn ASL again

behaves like a trojan virus, will not function without access to location granted, red flag #1 must have active internet connection not too suspicious but why ? finally since install app always runs in background and causes device glitches such as opening apps randomly and causing device lag uninstalled and reinstalled to confirm this app was the culprit good luck to those who choose to keep. but its a pass for me. ihope its just app glitches that get solved jack and jill hm what a tale!

A very basic intro for those with NO ASL knowledge. This app includes the alphabet, numbers (only 0-9), question words (who, what, when, where, why, & which), 16 basics (hello, goodbye, yes, no, please, thank you, you're welcome, sorry, stop, help, I love you, good, bored, bathroom, sad, book), & 18 medical terms (enter/admit, discharge, hospital, ambulance, emergency, bleed, rest, cast, crutches, prescription, wheelchair, bandage, test, stitches, draw blood, blood pressure, injection, surgery).

Sign languages are languages that use the visual-manual modality to convey meaning. Language is expressed via the manual sign stream in combination with non-manual elements and are full-fledged natural languages with their own grammar and lexicon.

No one form of sign language is universal. Different sign languages are used in different countries or regions. For example, British Sign Language (BSL) is a different language from ASL, and Americans who know ASL may not understand BSL.

That being said, the most widely used version is the American Sign Language (ASL), which is used is the USA, Canada, parts of Mexico and, with modifications, in quite a few other countries in Central America, Asia and Africa.

The many categories contained in this app includes:

+ ASL alphabets
+ ASL numbers
+ ASL basic words
+ ASL basic phrases
+ ASL basic medical terms
+ many more!

This app is an easy-to-use, detailed, and informative American Sign Language ASL self guide app that serves as the perfect beginner guide to sign language with pictures and tutorial.

Lastly, we sure hope our Sign Language For Beginners app has helped introduce our users to the basics and importance of sign language and just how learnable it truly is. Happy learning!
