This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Newman's Birds Southern Africa on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Short vesion: stay away! Lost my lifelist twice. When you do have it, its messed-up, or incomplete. Also, not a user-friendly app at all. Especially in the field. When I changed phones I could not login or change my password. This also happened twice. The function does not work. Had to contact tech support each time. I would not complain if it was a free app. But this is one of only a few apps I ever bought. So it should work. I would like to be refunded and get an app that actually works.

I added birds to my life list and then they weren't there when I exported them. I tried my own troubleshooting by logging out and now I can't get back in. I'm trying to reset my password but nothing happens. Support email bounces as well. The app has been brilliant, but now that I need support, this is my only avenue. Please assist!

My life list is empty! Didn't change phones, didn't uninstall and reinstall app! Guys, I paid good money for this app, what's going on? A previous response said it'll be fixed in 48 hours... That was last week.

I cannot add birds to my Life List. When I enter all the details, save and go back to my list nothing is there. Also sightings counter doesn't work.

No sound, very dissapointing. Had this app on my previous phone with no problems. Thank you Tresha for your assistance, the problem is solved, I installed power media player.

Great app, the only fix required here is the life list shows species and sightings, but the sightings counter does not work and the species actually counts the sightings. Please address this.

This app includes a cloud-based life list that stores your sightings online. You need to log in to the life list while you have internet connectivity, but once logged in, you can add sightings when you don’t have an internet connection. When you next connect to the internet, the life list will sync, and your new entries should be added to your list. The life list will sync to all your devices that have the app installed and where you are logged in with the same details.
