This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing LVR-Museen on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

About this app

"Das LVR-Freilichtmuseum Lindlar bietet das ganze Jahr über spannende Einblicke in die Vergangenheit. Im Mittelpunkt steht die bergische Landschaft, wie sie im 19. Jahrhundert ausgesehen hat. Auf 25 Hektar wird das Gelände nach historischem Vorbild bewirtschaftet. Höfe, Wohnhäuser und Werkstätten aus dem ganzen Bergischen Land wurden an ihren ursprünglichen Standorten abgebaut, im LVR-Freilichtmuseum Lindlar wieder aufgebaut und in die Landschaft eingebunden. Standort, Inventar und Umgebung werden so authentisch wie möglich dargestellt.

Eine wichtige Aufgabe des Freilichtmuseums ist es, alte Wirtschaftsweisen zu erforschen, zu bewahren und den Besucherinnen und Besuchern zu präsentieren. So stellen Landwirt, Handwerker oder Hauswirtschafterin alte Arbeitstechniken vor und erklären Wissenswertes zur Geschichte der Häuser. Die Arbeitswelt von damals wird so wieder lebendig. Im Museumsgelände rücken neben den Gebäuden auch die Landschaft, die Landwirtschaft und die Beziehungen zwischen Mensch und Landschaft in den Blickpunkt. Die „ökologische Komponente“ ist zentraler Bestandteil der Vermittlung. Das Lingenbachtal selbst - der Standort des Museums - wird zum Ausstellungsstück."
