Why is the audio only in English for a learn Japanese app? Where's the Japanese audio please. Such good content, then disappointed to hear only English audio for the phrases. I have to uninstall & look for one with working Japanese audio .Thanks to Gavin for suggestions but neither of them worked. Other apps seem to work w/out a prob,so I'll delete this one again.

Been trying to learn Japanese for a long time now. Very picky when it comes to apps. However, I have to say this surprised me! It's easy to use and doesn't make me feel like Japanese learning is a difficult task. The ads are a little annoying sometimes, but it's understandable. I have another app for Japanese learning and like to go back an forth between the two. This is in my top fav. Can't wait to keep using this for some years to come! Love to see updates. Thank you :D

I can't help but give this a full 5 stars. It's straightforward & easy to use! Handy for Japanese revision. Though, I do appreciate it if this app would have dark mode in future releases & if there was ever an option to permanently remove ads, I'd pay for it. Thank you, developer :)

Fantastic app that, unlike other apps, actually has me remember regularly used sentences and the kanji that make them up. I only completed the first two lessons to a point where I have decent reading and writing memorisation, but I highly recommend this.

I enjoy the app a lot. My only complaint would be that it can be hard to decipher exactly what the voice says. I would love if it had the way the japanese word is said in an english like format to show the exact phrasing of it? That way i know im saying it right and not just making the general sound for it. 😆 Otherwise, i love it and would still recomend it.

Other apps just teach how to recognize characters, but this app is beyond that. The input for quiz is a handwriting box (or multiple choice with friendly interface, if you prefer to do recognizion first) with the helpful stroke order guide. Each card/questions has its own level of writing: 1. stroke step and grey shadow guide. 2. stroke step without grey shadow. 3. complete blank white (with hint if you forget what is the next stroke).
