When you first open the app, you'll get an error that the input is not initialized. Open system settings and give the app permission to use the microphone. Ideally the app should ask for permission the first time you open it. * I had to figure out a few controls but overall it is pretty intuitive. * It is pretty accurate when tested against my tuning forks. * The readout is large, for which my eyes are grateful. (The font does get small when you display multiple notes). * You can display multiple notes by tapping & holding on the display (This could be added to the instructions). * The entire area with the frequency readout is a Pause button, which is appreciated (This could also be added to the instructions). * You can easily change the reference frequency. This is important since I use 432 Hz as my reference. Summary: It's functional, well-designed, and does the job.
