The app kept freezing up when I went to VR mode I wasn't able to see the first page all in action I wanted to see the volcano but it wouldn't let me. also it takes up so much space and I had to delete so many apps to get it. it's free and that's why you shouldn't trust it. Also I just had to get rid of the app in the end so I just deleted a whole bunch of apps that I liked for nothing.😠😠😠😠😠😭😭😭😭DO NOT GET THIS APP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VR Headset included isnt great. I have quite a slim phone and I was still a little worried it was going to damage it due to the pressure on the screen. The App is also not great, having some problems with centering while in VR mode. It may be a setting or something I need to change perhaps, but not a great experience so far. Experiments themselves seem well chosen and described in the included book. And Bill Nye is fantastic!

Edit: Working with CS now. 🤞 I wish it wouldn't kill my phone when we use it. It works fine until you are loading the VR or exiting VR. The screen goes black and you can't do anything. You can't turn off your phone, reset your phone, exit the app, nothing just a black screen, no sound, no picture, dead phone. I was really looking forward to this since I have Loved Bill Nye since I was a little kid and now I'm 37 with kids of my own and I want them to love him as much as I do. Please fix this.

My kid was able to figure out this app on his own (+1). Then he gave me a tour of the cool things the app can do, like turning the book pictures into videos, or the VR part where you're in the lab with Nye. I have a google Pixel and haven't had any issues. It does eat up battery, but then, VR/AR is resource intensive. And the app is big, which I wondered if that would cause issues because I buy the dinkiest phone but all good. Nice app. Compliments to the designers and devopers.

Impossible to use or figure out. When I use this app, the camera image is upside down no matter how I turn my phone, so I have to turn the book upside down to get it to work. I got the VR experience to trigger but all I could see was the top of his head. When wearing the VR goggles I have to close one eye, as each eye is seeing only half of the phone screen. A can't figure out how to press the Back button, either. This also uses up 2GB of storage space. Yikes!

Cool Idea, execution leaves a lot to be desired. Headset is uncomfortable, dangerously scues depth perception and by design ends up giving you double vision whenever you try to use it. Also, still awaiting confirmation email for paternal controls/support from the parent HQ app.
