Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing RMT Overland on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

Control your RMT Overland Six-Channel Wireless Accessory Control System!

Please note: Do not attempt to pair the controller to your phone through the Bluetooth settings screen. Doing so will prevent the app from seeing your Controller hardware and you will not then be able to add the device. If you have already paired using the Settings screen, you must "Forget" the device from that Settings screen.

Control power and dimming functions as well as a flashing feature when used with LED or conventional lighting. It is simple to set up and allows for user customization. Use the app to “Trigger” lights from outside the vehicle whenever you might need to activate an accessory on demand.

Additional app features:
- Monitor voltage of connected battery
- Set alerts if battery falls below user defined low-voltage threshold
- Customize switch backlight colors, save and recall favorites
- Set switch function to either standard toggle or momentary

Once installed, follow these instructions for getting connected:

- Ensure Bluetooth is active on your mobile device
- Allow Location Services when asked
- Tap the 'Tap to Connect' button
- The app searches for your RMT Controller and connects

If having difficulty connecting:
- Make sure Location services are on and that you allowed the app access.
- Press and hold buttons 2 and 5 on the control box, the LED for circuit 6 will blink 4 times and then turn off, release buttons 2 and 5. You have just reset the Bluetooth radio.
- Force Stop the app and then re-launch
- Tap to Connect
