- Opening 2018 with the hit "Strangers", Chau Dang Khoa have thoughts and expectations in the new year? Do you expect this song to win a prize at the end of the year?

I like a sentence in Spanish: QUE SERA SERA, meaning: What comes will come. I like that feeling more than just having to expect too much of something.
Are you an important person about the award?

If this question is asked at the moment to think, then I will answer yes, because I was just a "rookie". What I need more than all this is the recognition of the expertise for the gray matter that I spend. But now, I like the recognition of the audience more.

- Many people think that having a hit song or a big prize is a way for artists to raise their voices and increase their chats.

You're right, but that's not enough because it's just a small part. The audience is now very intelligent and sophisticated, they always have their own options and they, like me, have less confidence in the so-called transparency, justice in life, not to mention the award.

- Not long ago, the Korean media rated him as one of the rare Vietnamese young musicians who have hit a lot in the past three years. Do you think you are lucky or have the true power in the "hit production"?

I think I'm really handsome, and the rest is for the audience to listen to my music for me. I believe in the tastes and the most honest way of evaluating the audience now so their way of accepting a piece to some extent assess the capacity of the musician. Luckily, that is still a factor but not everything.
- More and more young musicians with new international influences, are you afraid of competition in this industry?

If I'm the best musician, I'm sure I'll care. But I know that no matter how hard I try, I will not be able to become the best, because the reality is that there are still many talented people in showbiz. So, I just want to be the most beautiful musician. (laugh)

Where there is no competition, a society without competition will not be able to develop. But besides fair competition, there is also the division of work and specialization, so I do not have to worry about it. You do good work, the rest of nature will come. It is important that I always think and remind myself to be kind.

- By signing a contract with a Korean entertainment company, what do you expect in your compositions on the international market?

I only expected three words: "Received!"
