About this app

Zumba was created by an aerobic instructor from Columbia named Alberto "Berto" Perez in 1990. At first Berto forgot to bring a cassette when he wanted to teach gymnastics, then he outsmarted it using upbeat music stored in the car. The fitness dance was finally known as Zumba.

Zumba was popular in 2003 in America and was brought to Indonesia in 2009, but began to be sought after by the people of Indonesia only since the beginning of 2012.

All movements in the Zumba dance are fast, powerful and high-pressure, causing contractions and muscle pull. Not only does it burn fat and nourish the heart, the zumba dance movement can also improve balance and flexibility.

In zumba, the main element is music and the person who does it feels partying rather than practicing gymnastics.
