It's a beautiful idea and extremely helpful but it's a bit inaccurate. Niantic made an update to speed up evolution animations so you'll need to update the app to support it. The calculations between candies and amount of pokemon is a bit inaccurate. Love the app.

As for now Assistant Overlay for PokemonGO can help you calculate how many pokemons you can evolve at the moment. The best way of leveling up is to evolve pokemons using lucky egg. Lucky egg doubles your exp gain for 30 minutes. During this time you are able to evolve about 60 pokemons. Because of this, it is optimal to catch and transfer enough pokemons to have sufficient candy amounts (along with pokemons to evolve), so that you can evolve 60 of them (or more). This app will help you calculate if you're there already, or need to catch some more!

Soon this app will also display information helpful while fighting in gyms. You'll know what Pokemon you should choose to make it most effective.
