Es una aplicación de realidad aumentada que contiene siete obras milenarias de México para el mundo. Cada pieza está acompañada de descripciones en español e inglés.
Funciona en una superficie plana bien iluminada y con textura o patrones (duela o piso de ladrillo); las superficies con mucho brillo o con reflejos no permiten el correcto desempeño de la aplicación.
Las siete obras se pueden rotar y escalar al tocar la pantalla. Al mover el dispositivo se pueden explorar como en un espacio real; además, es posible tomar fotografías, guardarlas y compartirlas. Cada pieza tiene una escala 1:1 lo que permite admirar sus dimensiones reales.
Para poder disfrutar de Prehispanic Museum AR es necesario tener instalada ARcore.
