About this app

Solvexio teaches simple Rubik's Cube solving methods. You will learn how to manipulate a 3x3 cube by recognizing when to apply certain moves. The tutorials in this app are made for you to learn the cube, not to just follow steps without understanding.

FEATURES:
• How to Solve a Rubik's Cube Tutorials
• Beginner Method (DSEF) Uses the Same 5 Steps Each Time
• Timer / Stopwatch with DNF, +2, Last and Best Avg. of 5, Ao12, and Ao50
• Step by Step 3D Cube Animations
• Intermediate Methods:
• • Corn.E.Midge - A Corners-First method using only 16 algorithms
• • FIXLL - uses only 9 Algorithms for a 4-Look Last Layer
• Solve the 2x2 with incremental learning technique: PLUS±MINUS
• How to Solve Other Puzzles: 2x2x3 Mini Tower & Void Cube with Parity Fixes
• Solve the 2x2 with incremental learning technique: PLUS±MINUS
• One Page Quick Reference Guides & Step-by-Step Slides
• No Ads! No in-app purchases.

The DSEF (Daisy Sledgehammer Easy Fishing) method is for beginners and uses the same 5 steps each time to solve a cube. This method has only one 7-move algorithm and two 4-move sequences to memorize. Solvexio also shows 3D cube animations to follow at each step.

The FIXLL intermediate method has more to learn, but solving a cube can be performed faster than a beginner method. It works well because a cube will present only so many cases that are possible at each step. Because of this, it has only 10 main algorithms to memorize and the last layer is solved using at most 4 "looks" or algorithms.

The Corn.E.Midge method is a complete Corners-First method with solves fewer than 70 moves and using only 16 algorithms (some only 4 moves).

After practicing the Solvexio methods you will be able to pick up any scrambled cube and solve it in under a minute.

Solvexio also shows how to make fun, interesting patterns on a 3x3 cube and provides general info about a cube:
Structure, Face Rotations, Reorientation & Turn Notations, Motion, Slice Turns, Position and Recognition.
