This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Training Your Own Service Dog on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Very disappointed. Couldn't get past registration since this app was not created for US market. Cannot add city state or zip therefore cannot register.

Looks like a good training app on the surface but then asks for heaps of information when trying to use it the first time. Appears to be gated behind a paywall. Tried to sign up to test it out, got declined and saying to contact admin. Going to website to submit info and find contacts and website still under construction. Was really looking forward to seeing what this could offer. A bit let down.

The stepped format shows how to train up to the standard of recognized Public Access standard (PAT). APP is ideal for training the service / assistance dog training for those with PTSD, ASD, Anxiety, Depression or those with Physical limitations. Training your own service dog creates an unshakable bond with your best mate; where together you can go out in the Big Wide World and create an environment that is safe, unobtrusive and discrete around the public. Manage your hyper vigilance, anxiety or fear with your special dog at your side. Service dogs for PTSD sufferers are gaining more acceptance by the general public, allowing former ADF/EMS personnel to regain lost confidence and live life to the maximum thanks to their own trained assistance dog. Conditions on dog selection apply. App consists of Tiers, Programmes and Tasks in true building block style, self-paced with plenty of support and feedback along the way. Skills oriented, there is much focus on your dog gaining the necessary social skills which encourages the dog to be invincible in a bomb-proof sort of way, just what is needed to help people cope with PTSD, ASD or anxiety & depression. Estimated time to do the programme is 18 months to 2 years, but you and your dog control the pace.

APP access is included in the service supplied to SDT Clients, or can be purchased independently from any possible hands-on assistance agreement or support. Gain more self-confidence and trust in your dog to open up new things you were unable to do. Train your own service dog APP was prepared to make this unique service available to all Australians who need access, regardless of where they live.

Specially adjusted PTSD App will be available soon for ADF/EMS staff, with guidance to reduce some of the symptoms of PTSD.

Special ASD Version available later to address specifics like school class integration, travel and busy places. NEW and written by experience and qualified service dog trainer and trainer of people. Tailored creative and the way the APP operates with online and phone support available.

Try the Train your own service dog APP intro for free for so you can experience if the APP is for you. If it is, you can access the APP in manageable chunks or purchase by Tier. Tier One is about obedience, communication and working with your dog in the outside world (no coat
required). Upon completion, you can buy Tier Two, which will take you into the inside world – and a coat and ID card will be supplied as part of this 2nd level training. This Tier also includes practical exercises to help with any physical needs.
