At first, I didn't know what this app was about. After reading the About Tutorial I understood it and learned something really cool about our outerspace!

About this app

This is a small simple to use educational app designed to show how the Earth's wobble effects the position of the equator and the Earth's poles, thus completely changing the weather patterns and the locations of glaciers, deserts and the north and south poles over a long period of time.
Most everyone knows the earth spins, that is how we get day and night, but also the earth is tilted on it's axis at 21.5 degrees and while it spins this tilt also spins, like a top winding down, but very slowly. It takes about 23,600 years for it to spin 1 time, this is known as "The great year" It was discovered long ago and is directly related to the zodiac, they noticed that on the winter solstice every 2150 years that the sun rose in a different constellation, the last one occurred at year 0 when we entered the constellation of Pisces and we will enter the next one, Aquarius, in the year 2150. notice that it seems backwards? well it is, and that's why it's called the Presession of the Equinoxes.

tap a zodiac sign to see the angle progression and what the positioning of the earth and what year it will be for the start of each zodiac sign, double tap to directly to the desired zodiac sign's beginning year

hold the + button on the right side of the clock to advance the days
hold the - button on the right side of the clock to go back in days

click the left side of the clock to manually enter a year between 0 and 23,600 (a larger year will default to 23,600)
click the left side of the clock again and it will progress to the year you selected.

when you click the left side of the clock to manually enter a year, notice that there's a reset button on the right side of the clock now, this will reset the time and date to current time and date.

press your phone's back button to exit the app
