Garage Museum of Contemporary Art presents a mobile application developed especially for the exhibition Russian Performance: A Cartography of its History.
Russian Performance is the first exhibition to explore a century of the medium’s history and unique traditions in Russia. Spanning the early experiments of the Futurists to the radical actions of today, the project also emphasizes the significance of Russian performance in an international context.
With this app you can take a fascinating journey through the exhibition by choosing one of 12 possible routes, each associated with one of the exhibition’s main themes: slogan, sound, landscape, body, staging, interactive object, communication, scenography, intervention, costume, text, and city. Each route will lead you along a unique path from the avant-garde to the present day and will provide unprecedented access to materials which cannot be found in the show.
