This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Earwig on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

A highly portable reference to the pests, pesticides and pesticide formulations encountered in the structural pest control industry. Earwig includes sufficient detail for the industry professional, but with clear explanations of the industry terms used so it remains understandable to the interested layperson.

Features:

Earwig includes details on over one hundred pests and over seventy pesticides, as well as background information on pest groups, pesticide categories, pesticide toxicity, and pesticide formulation.

You can find articles using the full index, or use the index filters to narrow your search to common pest control topics.

Pests are indexed by many of their common names, as well as a full index of their scientific names.

Pest images included in the articles may be individually displayed at the full resolution of the device.

Earwig does not require a network connection to display the reference material. All the reference information and images are contained within the Earwig application.

A network connection is required to optionally display image licenses or use the Earwig feedback features. However, these tasks are implemented through the device's native web browser and email client, and always remain under full control of the user.
