Brilliant app! Loads of useful information already, can't wait to see what else gets added when it updated! It brings together information from loads of books which are part of my university's reading list, so much cheaper than buying 15 books! Totally worth it in my eyes. Thanks guys!

It requires a lot more adding to it to make it worth £10. But it has got potential.

About this app

The Peri-operative guide on the go app has been designed with students and newly quaffed members of staff in mind. The app highlights the three phases of peri-operative care and breaks down each phase.

All areas are designed to act as a quick reference guide, for ease of access. This means that the topics covered contain important and concise information, however they are set out in a format which is easy to locate and understand.

The app will be regularly updated so the information provided will be accurate and reflect the evidence based practice that is available.

All aspects of the information is referenced therefore making it easy for the user to carry out further reading and find reliable sources, this in turn can help with written and practical assessments.
In addition to the information, the app also features a forum. This can be used for any questions users may want to ask others, to contact the developers or to share experiences that others may find useful.

Another feature of this app is the A-Z quick reference. This can be used to find medical terminology and their definitions, it also allows the user to search content within the app.

Throughout the app where possible diagrams and pictures are also used to help users identify specific information such as: equipment and anatomy.

In the future the app will also contain video tutorials produced by highly experienced professionals in the peri-operative environment.

All of the features will only be available to users of the app. The developers will be continuously working hard to ensure the app constantly evolves with practice and users demands. We always welcome your feedback and ideas.
