Jika Anda mendengar nama Jibril, siapakah yang terlintas di benak? Ya, tentunya malaikat yang mulia, Jibril ‘alaihissalaam. Dua nama yang indah dan mulia, dua nama tersebut tergabung menjadi satu dalam nama seorang syaikh pembaca kitab suci yang paling mulia (al-Qur’an), yakni Syaikh Muhammad Jibril.

Syaikh Muhammad Jibril adalah salah seorang qari’ yang mempergunakan riwayat Hafsh ‘an Aashim dalam membaca al-Qur’an. Bacaannya bertipe murottal, dalam artian bacaan tartil tidak terlalu cepat dan tidak terlalu lambat dalam membacanya. Murottal beliau berbentuk MP3 lengkap 30 juz (full 114 surat) alhamdulillaah tidak terlalu susah ditemui dan dapat diikuti dengan mudah.

Mengapa mudah? Karena bacaan beliau cukup pelan, jelas dan tidak terlalu tinggi nada-nadanya, sehingga dapat diikuti mayoritas masyarakat kita (yang tidak terlatih untuk menggunakan nada-nada tinggi dalam percakapan sehari-hari).
