About this app

ARWAK - An Augmented Reality Wordbook App for Kindergartners, is a simple educational app developed with the objective of familiarizing young children with objects found in their surroundings. Place the flashcard in front of the camera in order to witness it come to life, with movement and sound.

There are five domains of objects which can be brought to life by the user, which are as follows:

1. Animals: A variety of animals are present, ranging from farm animals like chicken to wild animals like a tiger. Hear the moos of a cow, the roar of a tiger, and many more!

2. Food: Witness your favourite food items appear on the screen, with a delicious selection consisting of Pizza, Donut, Burger and other salivating food items!

3. Fruits: Hear the crisp pronunciation of an assorted range of exotic fruits, ranging from Apples, to Bananas, and Kiwis! Identify the fruits and see them appear in your actual surroundings.

4. Vegetables: Familiarize yourself with our day to day vegetables, such as a Carrot, Pumpkin, Onion, and many more!

5. Transport: From the sound of a police car, to that of a boat in the sea, see your favourite modes of transport in action!

Switch between the domains according to your wish.
