About this app

'Tell Me a Story' is a program for primary grades. In this program, scenes of a potential story are published in the newspaper. Students are prompted by the teacher to explain what they think is happening in the picture, what they think happened before and what they think after the pictured scene took place. With the app, characters in the illustrations "come alive" and prompt students to add to their earlier ideas. The app also captures more about the characters than any 2D illustration ever could. The culminating task is for students to use some of the ideas generated as a class to create their very own story to go along with the pictured scenes and the provided augmented reality.
