I didn't know how to control it. The real one at an event worked great but the actual app wouldn't give me any type of way to choose my path and I was stuck with the main menu. Please provide directions as to how to use it with the lenses.

About this app

Immerse yourself in this virtual tour of the Colorado River Aqueduct and discover the journey of water to Southern California.

The Colorado River Aqueduct, an engineering marvel built and maintained by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, begins at Lake Havasu on the California-Arizona border and moves water 242 miles over desert and mountains to Metropolitan’s vibrant service area – Southern California. Here, 19 million people spanning 6 counties benefit from this water supply and from Metropolitan’s leadership and forward-looking investments for the region. The water flows to homes, schools, businesses, industries, farms, and parks, supporting a thriving $1 trillion economy.

In this virtual tour, you will experience a number of sites along the Colorado River Aqueduct, from its start at the Whitsett Intake Pumping Plant on Lake Havasu at the California-Arizona border to its end at Lake Mathews, a reservoir in Riverside. The tour continues to a water treatment plant, where water is cleaned, and then to Southern California -- the ultimate destination of this water. At each point of interest, you may further learn about the site by listening to a narration and exploring the photosphere.

This tour is brought to you by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, a state-established cooperative of 26 cities and water agencies. The district operates the largest water delivery system in the nation, importing water from the Colorado River and Northern California to supplement local supplies. Furthermore, Metropolitan is a leader in water conservation and sustainability initiatives and helps its members to develop increased water conservation, recycling, storage, and resource-management programs.
