For convenience of study the entire vocabulary is divided into groups of words (levels) balanced by the number of parts of speech. The teaching process consists of several stages:
1. At the familiarization stage you are suggested to read new English words, listen to the pronunciation and remember the translation. Familiarization with new words is automatic and resembles video and audio lessons for English words learning.
2. At the learning stage, it is suggested to choose the correct translation of a English word among several possible options. The application stores answers for each learnt word and generates the necessary sequence and frequency of occurrence of words in the learning. As you study words, English word listening comprehension exercises are added. There is an opportunity in the application to perform only oral exercises ("Comprehension" mode) to learn spoken English. Separate progress indicators for reading (orange) and listening (blue) help to control the process of English word learning better.
3. In the course of time the application gradually reduces the achieved results of study, reminding to repeat learned English words. The rate of reduction depends on the time and results of previous repetitions of words and decreases as the learned English words become fixed in the long-term memory. This mechanism forms a repetition stage consisting of 5 intervals of repetition of the studied words - in 3 days, a week, a month, 3 months, half a year.
