About this app

This augmented reality simulation for use with the Merge Cube was created by Dr. David Rosengrant at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and developed by Devan Patel and Dr. Rongkai Guo at Kennesaw State University. This simulation allows users to control a space ship in which you can manipulate velocity as well as forces (size and duration) in three dimensions. In addition, users will also be able to create graphs of displacement, velocity, and acceleration in this simulation across those three dimensions or use the real time data to make their own. Instructors from elementary school to University level courses can utilize this simulation to help their students increase conceptual understanding. Moving starfields, thrusters and arrows representing motion all help users develop a better understanding of how force affects motion in the palm of their hand.
