What is JioMart?

JioMart is an online-to-offline (O2O) business platform where customers can place an order online, but purchases the products offline (nearest local retail stores). The Reliance Jio-owned e-commerce platform aims to connect 20 crore customers to three crore offline stores throughout the country.

How do I order from JioMart?

In order to place an order on JioMart, users will first have to save the WhatsApp business number allotted to JioMart which is 88500 08000. On just typing 'Hi', the company will then send a link to the customer's Whatsapp account. This link should be accessed within 30 minutes after which it will expire.

If you want to order groceries via JioMart, here are the steps that you need to follow:

Step 1: Go to JioMart’s new website and enter your PIN code.
Step 2: Once you know that JioMart is delivering in your area, tap on the Sign In button on the top right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Enter your mobile number and click on Use OTP button.
Step 4: In the following screen enter your email address, your name, password and phone number.
Step 5: Once you confirm your phone number, an OTP will be sent to you as an SMS. Enter the OTP and click Verify.


Now that you have registered on the new JioMart site, you can order groceries on Jio’s e-retail platform. Here’s how you can do that:

Step 1: Search for the item that you want to buy and click on Add to Cart Button.
Step 2: Once you are done adding items to your cart, tap on the Cart icon on the top right corner of the app. Here you can increase or decrease the quantity of the items that you have added to your cart. You can also continue shopping or delete an item from the cart.
Step 3: Once you have finalised the list, click on the Proceed button.
Step 4: Now enter your PIN code, name, phone number and your delivery address and click on Save Address option.
Step 5: Now, click on the Pay option to pay for your purchases. You can choose to pay via an e-wallet, debit or credit card, netbanking or via cash.

How to Place an Order on JioMart WhatsApp

Users from Navi Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan region can place an order on the JioMart through WhatsApp.
* Save the JioMart number 8850008000 and send a ‘Hi’ on WhatsApp.
* JioMart will send a link which is valid for only 30 minutes.
* The customer has to click on the link to fill all the details like address, name and phone number.
* Select the items available from the JioMart product catalogue.
* Place the order.
