This app is a gateway to the general Ugandan election in 2021. Read more about the presidential candidates, explore their manifestos and make up your own opinion about them.

This app is the result of a collaboration between Media Focus Africa in Uganda and Impact Unified AB.

Impact Unified does NOT represent any government entity or political party. This app is the result of a collaboration between Media Focus Africa and Impact Unified AB.

This app aims at creating and promoting the use of alternative digital platforms to increase the reach in real time to all the electorate and to provide adequate space for each candidate to share their views and be heard. Tulonde is a vernacular word meaning ‘to vote.’ The app aims at increasing reach of individual candidates to their electorate and engaging the electorate, especially the youth, to participate in the 2021 general elections.

The app contains brief descriptions of the background and political manifestos of the presidential candidates in the 2021 Ugandan General Election. The sources for this information, as indicated within the app, are:
