Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Igneous Experiences on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

Igneous Experiences is an Interactive Arts and Augmented Reality experience hosting app, created by Igneous Interactive.

As a start-up interactive arts company trying to push animation into Augmented Realty, Igneous Interactive is striving to create brand new interactive art experiences for communities, installations and more. Focused within Plymouth, with aims to expand across Devon, Cornwall, and even further.

Our first experience featured in this app is our Frederick St experience, a collaboration of street art, 2D animation and AR interactivity. Designed to be viewed at the location itself but can also be viewed through our website if you have a screen.

Our recent update now introduces the Union Street Mural, which is a collaboration of characters that aim to represent communities of minority groups. With the input from those communities on how they would like to be represented in an animated form.

Igneous Interactive has more experiences underway, stay tuned for an exciting event and update to the app happening soon.
