Billing corrupted. Cannot subscribe to the service. I've tried billing through the Funimation website, but it just pointed me to the google play app. The app directed me back to the funimation website. It's an endless loop.

watching on an Nvidia Shield TV 2019 model, and boy, y'all have issues. the pause button literally does not work. the select button does, but using the play/pause stops the video for a frame, and then it plays. vice versa if i do it to resume play. certain episodes are missing subtitles for the japanese version of the show, but have them for the dubbed versions. which is frustrating, because i have no interest in this company's dub work for the most part (y'all did good with panty and stocking but otherwise, nah). subs look horrid compared to crunchyroll. styled subs would be nice. i also have them double up sometimes, which is annoying. you're trying to compete in a space long dominated by crunchyroll and they have competent apps on various platforms and a functional web presence. if you want to make any ground up, fix your apps. please. i beg you.

After the ads play (which freeze all the time by the way), the anime episodes won’t even play. Doesn’t matter which show, if it’s on Funimation, the app won’t play an single episode. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Also, this issue is on every version of Funimation but the one piece menu says it has English and Japanese audio but only Japanese audio is available when you play the show, stop saying it has English if there is no English audio or add the English audio already!

Worked well for a week then it started crashing when I opened the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it would do the same thing. My device: Sony Bravia x900H

Funimation service is pretty decent, but the Application for AndroidTV needs work. Examples of the issues that I have run into are as follows. Every time I go into the app to watch a show on my Sony Android TV when I get out and attempt to watch another app, I need to restart my Android TV. On the Home screen of the app it shows that I have 119 in the Queue, but if I go into the Queue, I am only able to see the first 50. There are times when a show shows that it is available to watch, but when I go into it, I get a message saying "Unable to stream", example Berserk, but I was able to watch a show like DragonBall Super.

the good news is, the stream no longer pauses for 5 minutes in the middle of an episode....the bad news, it no longer launches from the main app widget on the TV =/ when it works, it works well enough. Still think I'd give it a 2* for design, meaning its about on par with HBO Max for design; but then again, if the main launcher were working, I'd be more likely to give it a 3.
