This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AEG RX app on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

I sm not sure what happened since about a week, but i cannot control my robot remotely anymore. I cannot access start/cancel cleaning function, the app looks different without the normal home screen with all basic functions, which is frustrating. I cannot seem to be able to access robot settings anymore (eco cleaning etc.). Although it has home and start icons right when the app is opened, they are unaccessible. I have even reinstalled the app, but is the same. Could anybody give me some guidance?

The robot cannot be paired with the app in a normal way. The error message says "No connection to the cloud". Eventually I have discovered that the robot creates the own wireless network while upside down. When I switched the phone into this network (rather than the true wireless network I use), the app suddenly passed the first activation step! For the following steps it needed the true internet again, hence I switched back. Eventually I managed to get through but cannot give many stars for all this adventure, sorry. This app is identical by interface to Electrolux PUREi9 and even accepts the same login credentials. Huawei P9 Plus.

Actually - 5 stars. Whoever programmed this app is beyond dumb. My wifi is hidden. Guess what? The stupid app does not let you enter the wifi details and it it obviously cannot find the hidden wifi. Well, the robot will be returned to the shop tomorrow because I will sure as hell not make my wifi less secure to accommodate idiots who should not have a job in software development.

App wont find my robot and is unable to control the robot. Did a full reinstall of the app but still nothing.
