This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TraqTimer on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Easy to use LapTimer that calculates your lap time without any external devices with high accuracy.

The TraqTimer application uses the same tools that smartphones have: accelerometer sensors and internal GPS receiver. Since the built-in accelerometer operates at 100 times the frequency of the built-in GPS sensor, the accuracy of lap times and speed readings has dramatically increased.
The use of a gyroscope and an accelerometer in combination with GPS also made it possible to bring the accuracy similar to the professional data loggers used in pro racing.

TraqTimer has one more important function that allows you to analyze everything that happens on the race track. In addition to lap times, the application evaluates the driving style, balance at the corner entrance and the ability to work with the brake and throttle pedals. Based on a unique data processing algorithm, the application gives a star rating from 1 to 5 along with the lap time. This score does not depend on the lap time itself, but depends solely on drivers skills.
