Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing NTHU IEEM Virtual Tour on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management Department of the National Tsing Hua University is the best in Taiwan. IEEM professors and students participate actively in international and domestic academic associations such as INFORMS, Chinese Institute of Industrial Engineers, the Ergonomics Society of Taiwan, and the E-Business Management Society of Taiwan. Our students are very active in extracurricular activities in which they demonstrate their leadership and teamwork. The undergraduate students hold the summer Industrial Engineering Camp for high school students to promote industrial engineering knowledge through seminars, lectures, and hands-on activities. And we also organize workshops for high school teachers to promote the study of industrial engineering.
This is the app is a gaze-based Virtual Reality Implementation for Virtual Touring around the department. Navigation is through looking (gazing) at any location in on the department panel and you will be teleported inside. The app is ideal for students who wish to have a sneak peek of department facilities before enrollment. The app was built for HTC VIVE PRO and we have ensured compatibility with Google cardboard.
