Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Baliphone on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

Baliphone fait partie de « GameLAN », ensemble d’applications musicales conçu par Grame, Centre national de création musicale. Elles s’appuient sur la technologie Faust (https://faust.grame.fr/) et ont été imaginées pour êtres jouées en utilisant simplement les mouvements du smartphone. Pas de prérequis musical, seul vos gestes feront de vous un musicien !

Faust est un langage de programmation pour le traitement numérique du signal en temps réel. Il permet de concevoir de manière simple des synthétiseurs et des effets audios pour un grand nombre de plateformes et peut notamment être utilisé pour créer des applications web et mobiles pour la musique, des plug-ins audios (ex. VST, AU, etc.), des externals pour Max/MSP, PureData, CSOUND, etc., ou encore des applications indépendantes.

Les 7 applications de la famille « GameLAN » (Sinusoide, Baliphone, Sequenceur, ShakerXY, Attackey, DroneLAN, Atomicro) peuvent être jouées en solo ou en orchestre.
