College of Engineering Roorkee (COER) is located at Roorkee, Uttarakhand. The town of Roorkee, located on the national highway (NH-58) is about 180 km north of Delhi, the capital of India, and is known as the gateway to the Himalayan Ranges. Roorkee is well connected with Delhi via rail and road. There is frequent bus service between Roorkee and Delhi. Rail connections to Roorkee are on Howrah-Amritsar and Delhi-Dehradun Railway Lines. The COER campus, situated on NH-58, just 7 km from Roorkee offers an enchanting site with 75 acres of lush green pollution free environment. Affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), Dehradun and recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), the campus provides an enchanting site on the busy highway that catches the eye of every passer-by.

The COER campus is meticulously constructed. The infrastructure and the academicians are providing the best of inputs for education and extra-curricular activities. The campus is perfectly built up with various sections including fully facilitated class-rooms, Laboratories, Computer Centre, Library, Hostels, Auditorium, and Student Centre as well as Sports Complex.

2. To design, develop and implement curricula of various programmes using dynamic and responsive processes, in tune with the needs of the global industry and economy.
3. To ensure an environment where students, faculty and staff are encouraged to enhance their intellectual curiosity and improve their technical and professional skills through Continuous Development Programmes.
4. To accelerate its research programme in various fields to cope up with growing demands of both industry and academia.
