This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Aviva DigiCare+ on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Terrible. I had a consultation booked and tried to login. I was presented with a pop up that said error and to call anAviva support no. The guy I spoke to at Aviva said it should be a problem for Square Health and just reset my password (even though this wasn't the issue because I use a password manager). Then whenever I tried to login it said "Sorry, we are having technical problems with our website. The page you're looking for isn't available at the moment". Missed my appointment. Rubbish.

Got there in the end! You'll spend more time on this app waiting for individual pages to load than anything else. Nearly every page starts or finishes with an error message, but I persevered, closed and reopened a few times. Once I finally finished registration I wasn't able to immediately book an assessment but again another round of signing in/out restarting the app got me there.

Really poor functionality from this app. When youre dealing with potentially sensitive and private information you want to feel confident that you can trust it and it does the opposite. Clunky, redirects you all over the place and doesnt let you back in once you close it. It just hovers on the loading icon and does nothing. Square Health were obviously the lowest bidder but Aviva seriously need to do better if they want to venture into the app building world.

Therapy sessions are recorded for training and quality!!! It's a therapy session not a sales enquiry. How can you feel safe/vulnerable enough to explore your issues when you're being recorded and you don't know who might watch it back?

How does this app still not work for so many people?! Ive tried every few months for the last 2 years for this to work. I've had 2 different phones and neither work.

Aviva DigiCare+ offers a range of complimentary health and wellbeing benefits provided by carefully selected partners (some optional benefits may incur a charge). It’s available to customers who have taken out an Aviva personal protection policy (excluding Simple Life Insurance) through a financial adviser.

What’s included with the Aviva DigiCare+ app?
