This app seems to be very basic at the moment. I love the idea behind it but currently there's not a lot of features. It would be great to be able to see how far away someone is and/or sort by location, and it would also be nice to have a photo gallery on the profile where you can upload pictures, possibly some more profile options too (likes/dislikes, etc). Right now it's just an app with a very basic profile where you can message other people based off of the limited information on their own profiles with no idea how close they are to you. I am hopeful that more features will be added in the future though; it looks promising. Edit: it would also be nice to have block/report options. I have already encountered a fetishist and I don't want them showing up in my search

I have tried to sign up with thurst on multiple occasions and when i first tried, it would always get stuck on the signing up screen. Other times, it wouldn't work at all. Recently, I tried again and it didn't even give the option to sign up. Only log in. I have reached out to the thurst team on Facebook several times and they rarely respond. I sent an email as well originally as they'd asked, but never got a response. Very disappointed with the communication.

Vaporware. The Duke Nukem Forever of dating apps. I've been following the hype for this app for a couple years. Every six months or so I download it to see if there is anything. Still nothing. There is a sign in screen but no option to create an account. And that's about it. The developers should not have released this if it wasn't ever going to be ready for market. It just becomes another disappointing example of how queer folk never get good things. Thanks for the big wad of disappointment.

Tried this on a moto x pure at release time and it was pretty terrible. Didn't allow searching precisely by location. They did fix up the bugs and crashes over time though. Tried today on a new Google pixel 2 and it wouldn't even load to get to the login screen. There was some animation and then it sat on a white screen. Really hoping that this app turns into something useful some day.

Doesn't load anymore, at least on my device. Was probably the worst app for meeting people when it did work. Good idea, but may have been more difficult to program than the developer anticipated.

I'll be honest: I'm a deprived (okay, slightly depraved) bisexual trans guy looking for a trans-centered equivalent of grindr, and from the press it got this seemed like it'd fit. Unfortunately, it just doesn't live up to the hype yet. You can't filter search results by location, and can't filter based on age... I have hope for what's coming in future updates, but right now I'm disappointed.
