Ive been on a waitlist for the past month and a half and received no notifications until 8:51pm today that dating starts in 10mins. I then waited a half hour for nothing to happen, and ended up looking the app up to see it didn't exist under the same name and logo anymore, and that people have been using the app since July of last year. I don't really know what to do with it at this point. I hope to be able to use it one of these days, though.

The concept of this app is cool. However, it does not connect with the people in locally but connect with international or different state. And worst of all, it does not provide a way to connect with the people you like. And 1 min 20 second is too short to start anything ! Needs a big improvement.

Very interesting! Creative and intimate. You're literally talking to strangers (in real time) and it really feels like a blind date since you have no idea what they look like 🤪 I like listening to what different people say in their recording 🤓

Cool concept but...this app would be so much better if I could choose what time the blind date should happen. People have busy schedules and 10pm my time is no good when I like to get ready for bed around then... :( This app should have a part that asks for your time zone and what time of day you want for a blind date. Then people could actually attend.

About this app

Vocal is the first app to do something completely different from other dating apps: put personality first, and reveal looks later. Play an anonymous dating game based around real time voice conversations. Contestants answer questions to woo the main girl or guy, just like a reality TV show. Ever wanted to be on Love is Blind or The Bachelorette? Now you can, and do it all from bed in your pajamas!

Vocal is simple: you can choose to either start dates or join dates. One host starts a date session with up to three participants. The host chooses a question they want the participants to answer, and joins a one-on-one call with each participant to talk in real-time. The host chooses one to match with, and afterward they can continue the conversation, reveal profiles, and talk in longer voice calls.

Blind dates are only the beginning on Vocal! Once you make a match, you can continue the conversation through messages and calls.
