About this app

San Alejo fue un hijo de una familia acomodada en la edad media, tuvo una formación educativa y logró tener mucho conocimiento y amor por su prójimo.

El día de su boda decidió renunciar a su vida acomodada y dedicarse a servir a su prójimo, por ello abandonó su pueblo y empezó su labor altruista. Su nueva vida era bien precaria y vivía de las limosnas que le daba la gente.

Cuando regresó a su casa nadie lo reconoció así que decidió seguir con esa vida hasta el día de su muerte donde finalmente decide revelar su identidad a su familia. Por ello se convirtió en santo, por su ejemplo de vida, la austeridad en la que vivió y el amor al prójimo que demostró.
