The return button doesn't work so I can't add a blank line, say between a link and some text, or between two lines, or between a photo and some writing, or... Or... Or. It works fine on all the other apps I use so I know it's not an issue with my phone. Because of this glitch I can only share text-formatted posts on a pc or laptop... Which kind of defeats the purpose!!

Cannot complete registration. Confirmation link takes to the page to enter login and password. Then nothing happens. Same think on desktop and in the app. Given up after a dozen of tries.

The app is pretty much garbage. There's no reason it should be taking 15 minutes just to upload a profile picture. I had to restart the app 6 different times and the picture still isn't right. It randomly crashes too. I had a hard time just signing up to. Absolute mess. No thank you, cannot recommend.

BEWARE: FISHING APP! So I joined Ello because I am always looking for social networks tailored for artists. Ello looks like a social app for artists, however you will get notifications and messages from bots wanting to "chat." I also received an email Ello that they started to include dating--as in romantic dating--in their app. The app looks well designed and professional, however I believe they are targeting artists and then fishing their information. Avoid this app.

Quickly became my most hated app ever. Signing up means they force you to follow 17 people. You can't unfollow them from a Web browser. You need to do it from a smartphone, one at a time and by writing in the username. Also people who haven't set a name on their profile don't show up and cannot be unfollowed. It's clear that Ello doesn't want people unfollowing anyone. Furthermore the app searches whilst typing which causes huge lag. Your following page also shows posts/people you don't follow.
