About this app

This app calculates energy losses in pipe systems that includes accesories such as elbows, valves and tees.

This app is intended as educational support material for engineering undergraduate "Fundamentals of fluid mechanics" course. It is based on theory taken from "Applied fluid mechanics" book by Mott-Untener, 7th edition, Pearson, 2015.

Main aim of this app is to show main influence of size, type of fluid and accessories on energy losses that a pump should overcome. Do not use this app for purchasing/manufacturing/designing a pipe system, because app logic may contain bugs. Instead, contact your supplier.
