About this app

Wireless Scout (WScout) is an application developed by the Laboratory for Communications and Applications 1 (LCA1) [1] for use in the Mobile Networks course at EPFL [2].

The app shows you information about nearby cell towers and Wi-Fi networks, and allows you to test the accuracy of Wi-Fi geolocation. WScout is an educational app designed ONLY for the Mobile Networks course [2], that is, it is designed to work only in the EPFL campus.

This version requires Google Play Services (to use Google Maps). If you are using an older version of Android without Play Services, you can download WScout Lite.
