I've been using the icontrol5 for my VSX830. It's been very frustrating to say the least Constant trying to connect via ip address. When the icontrol5 works, has great features However, this app seems to connect everytime with no issue so far. I've been using for 1 week. I highly recommend if you are just as frustrated using the Pioneer app

Tried with VSX-1311 and would not connect, even after manually entering the same IP used with iControlAV5

Tried to connect to my wired VSX-1020, no good. Tried to enter the IP manually and all I got was a black screen that I had to force quit out of.
