About this app

The Bible Nuggets app was developed so that you could have those great "nuggets" from the Bible available randomly at the touch of your hand. It is a great app for when your standing in line at the grocery store or waiting for your car to have an oil change - whenever you have free time to browse and you need a "quick fix" of truth!

But its for much more than just browsing nuggets (although that was the original reason I developed it). It also includes a full Bible browser, a facility to setup and practice memory verses, an area to practice answers to common objections (Apologetics) and a clock that displays Scripture that is based on the time of the day. I developed all of these features to meet my needs and I hope that these features are able to bless many others as well.

v1.25 (12/18/12): Several minor adjustments:
- Make sure the add to memory doesn't show up
unless the passage is not in memory
- Disable navigation on the full Bible browser
in cases where it doesn't make sense.
v1.24 (12/16/12): On the browse nuggets screen there is now a "Go To Passage..." menu that allows you to jump directly to a passage
v1.23 (12/16/12): On the jump to passage feature and the add passage to tag feature when entering a passage reference, the app is now recognizing alternate book names and abbreviations (e.g. ps = psalms).

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
