This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Simple Bible - Hebrew (JPS) on PC Windows and Mac.

I was expecting tanakh. This app depicts an image of the cross. I'm Jewish!

This has the masoretic text parallel to the JPS 1917 translation. No pop ups. Obviously written for those with Christian sensibilities so that some menu items may not appeal if you are not; if so it is free app just move on.

It calls the Tanakh the old testament as soon as I opened it. Then I deleted it.

I found this app and thought it fantastic that there was both English and Hebrew. But, it's all backwards. All of the Hebrew is reversed to be read like English. I'm not sure if this is a formatting error in my phone or the app, but it was disappointing and frustrating to find all the Hebrew completely backwards. This app had the potential to be great, but I'm sorry to say it flopped drastically. I'll be looking for another Hebrew Bible app.
