Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing PhysicsDroid (Voice) on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Power of Physics is in your hands!

PhysicsDroid is an app with many physics equations.
It will calculate unknown values with just few clicks.
This version of PhysicsDroid is controlled by voice.
On some devices it takes few seconds to start hearing the instructions.
If you didn't hear anything in more than 5 seconds and your volume is high, then close the app and launch it again, it happens only on first launch sometimes.
On some devices you will need internet or older version of 'Google App'.
Newer versions of 'Google App' might disable offline speech recognition.
I'd recommend using offline speech if possible, because on some devices WiFi or Mobile Data might make it harder for your phone to understand what you said.
Also, make sure that 'English (United States)' is selected in Settings\Accessibility\Text-to-speech output\Google Text-to-speech and preferred engine should be Google of course.
If you want normal version, get "PhysicsDroid".
Currently, it doesn't contain every single physics equation, but we will add new equations with every update!

For ads-free version, get "PhysicsDroid (Voice) - Pro" and support future development.
