About this app

The new Supercrawl app features a completely re-imagined interface, with emphasis on finding what you are looking for – fast.

Looking for your favourite food truck or live performance? Use the Supercrawl map to quickly find performances, music, art installations, food and more. Use the "Follow Me" feature to find points of interest around you. Use the "Filter" feature to display only relevant events on the map.

Using the built-in Supercrawl Twitter feature, you can quickly send out a tweet while you're at the festival. Your #Supercrawl tweets may even appear on the Supercrawl map!

Discover new bands, artists and local businesses by reading their profiles. Share the time and location of any event with your Twitter followers by using the "Share" feature on any profile.

During the rest of the year, the app will also display information on James Street North's monthly Art Crawl events and vendors.

The Event:

In 2009, a team of artists and community builders initiated SUPERCRAWL, they wanted to see the monthly event on James North, the ART CRAWL, expand to include music in a greater way and to take full advantage of an entire street of cultural experiences.

Despite a deluge of rain on our inaugural year, over 3000 people attended the free event. Babes-in-arms, seniors, families, teenagers, local business owners, hipsters, artists, and politicians - you name it, they came out in droves for SUPERCRAWL.
