Expressionando é um aplicativo que vai ajudar as crianças a entenderem diversos tipos de sentimentos. Os indivíduos com autismo apresentam déficit da Teoria da Mente, ou seja, possuem dificuldade de entender as emoções e as expressões faciais. Aliado a isso, eles apresentam dificuldade de se colocar no lugar do outro.

Expressionando permite que o usuário escolha a expressão facial correta depois que uma pergunta é feita a ele. O adulto que estiver apresentando o aplicativo, pode chamar a atenção para os olhos, boca da personagem para enfatizar os detalhes e, assim, ajudar a pessoa com deficiência reconhecer os mesmos traços nos adultos ao seu redor. As nuances das expressões ajudam a entender as emoções e, consequentemente, facilitarão a interação com os colegas.
