This is such a fantastic app, it's well worth paying the few quid to get the ad free version. I have been using this app to help me fall asleep for about 8 years now. There is a fabulous variety of books, and a wealth of different readers. You can even read a book yourself, should you so desire. As long as it's public domain, Librivox has it. Just wonderful. I wouldn't be without it

3/28/2021 - i have the new update. Nice new format. BUT my books stop playing at the end of a chapter so i must manually hit play to continue playing. :-/ This is occurring with both streamed and downloaded selections.

About new app look&feel: Ithink I love it, but: -1. Has the dark mode been ditched or am I just too thick to find the switch? -2. Can I remove the sliding spectrogram thingamajig in the middle (or at least rescale it because it tends to be at saturation all the time).

LibriVox Audio Books *Supporter* is the only one of the two versions of this app that supports Google Cast correctly for me. Most of functionality is pretty intuitive to use, but the playback options are definitely primitive, and the default screen doesn't reliability reflect what you last played, perhaps because the app doesn't request any permissions. LibriVox, as a service in general, is wonderful. Volunteer readers will always be hit and miss, but it's better than nothing.

Absolutely amazing and valuable! I recommend this to anyone who wants to grow in wisdom and knowledge! Though free, the contents are priceless.
