En août 1914, vers Liège, de verdoyants petits villages du Pays de Herve ont atrocement subi le premier choc de l'invasion allemande. Le village de Berneau a été incendié dès le matin du 5. Herve fut une ville martyre dès le 8. Avec le soutien de la Wallonie et de la Province de Liège, les communes de Blegny, Dalhem, Fléron, Herve, Olne, Soumagne, Thimister-Clermont et Trooz ont voulu rendre hommage aux 700 premières victimes civiles belges de la Grande Guerre en animant 2 vieilles cartes en 3D de Trinquier. Dans un esprit de paix européen et pour que la mémoire reste vive, elles vous offrent ici cette animation mise en application.
