But another sport of Jallikattu has been going on in Tamil Nadu for a long time. It is called Manchu Virattu or Eruthukattu.

It is almost like a bull run. There are bamboo barriers on both sides of the long, narrow street. The owners will let the bulls run away in this street. That is the fate of the youth standing inside the fence.

In an Eruthukattu, the bulls run four times on the same street.

Tamilnadu government has approved this sport as Tamilians Traditional sport.
