This application lets you work out what your course fees will be for the Diploma of leadership and Management course. This works for both online and on-campus (Melbourne) course fees.

The Diploma of leadership and Management covers the following subjects – manage budgets and financial plans, manage recruitment selection and induction processes, manage workforce planning, build and sustain an innovative work environment, lead and manage effective workplace relationships, manage people performance, facilitate continuous improvement, manage operational plan, undertake project work, manage risk and lead and manage team effectiveness.

You will also become familiar with emotional intelligence, such as how to identify the impact of own emotions on others in the workplace, recognise and address the emotional strengths and weaknesses of others, promote the development of emotional intelligence in others and utilise emotional intelligence to maximise team outcomes.

The Diploma of leadership and Management will also give you the knowledge on how to establish team performance plans, develop and facilitate team cohesion, facilitate teamwork and how to liaise with stakeholders to ensure your plans and strategies are well-rounded.

If you want to be a Team Leader, it is also important that you know how to manage ideas and information, establish systems to develop trust and confidence, manage the development and maintenance of networks and relationships as well as manage difficulties to achieve positive outcomes.

If you want to be a respected manager, it is crucial that you know how to lead innovation by example, establish work practices that support innovation, promote innovation, create a physical environment which supports innovation and provide learning opportunities. It is also important that you know how to develop recruitment, selection and induction policies and procedures; recruit and select staff; and manage staff induction.

In the management course, you also get the opportunity to learn more about managing projects. From defining projects, to developing a project plan, to administering and monitor projects, to finalising and reviewing projects.

For students that are keen on refining and honing in on their management skills further, not only will they have access to the learning materials online, they will also have access to one on one time with the Trainer to help them.
