I like it a lot, but one function I suggest is to be able to play videos from network stream.

Very poor execution. 1. It opens the meaning in the web browser. 2. Unable to select any phrase or idiom because it shows translation after selecting one word only. But good thing is now it doesn't ask any storage permission which is an improvement. Edit - Payment depends on various factors. I am using an another app which doesn't require payment for such features.

Some videos don't have subtitles, some Japanese videos are in English or Korean. The subtitles are cut at the wrong part, like, right in the middle when the talker is speaking fast, and it's really hard to follow. The concept is good but there are too many possibilities for mistake which is bad for learners. I advise implementing a community-driven function where users can give feedback on bad videos or subtitles.

This is the best app I've ever seen. You can watch and read the subtitles at the same time. Best app for learning languages through shadowing. But In the new version I don't know how to explore my favorite subjects! If sb knows please tell me.

Beta, shuts down a lot. I was using it about 3 min and it wanted a $6 A month subscription, so not much a trial. So far looks like very limited content. But a great idea, because ListeningDrill is so far only for Apple. I wish it could do Netflix, like some chrome extensions can.

Very good app! Simultaneous translation text reading is excellent, but Google translation is not accurate. Yandex could be a better solution, but still it's a bit inaccurate; and complex to use compared to Google translate 😉 👍👋.
